Who we are…

The Lake Artists Society, founded in 1904, is a vibrant & varied group of 45 elected artists all living in Cumbria in the North of England.

Enjoying the wild inspiration of lakes mountains & woodland each artist brings their own personal interpretation of life around and within them.

What we offer…

The Lake Artists Society holds a large, prestigious exhibition in Grasmere every Summer. Both members and non-members exhibit alongside each other, drawing crowds of art lovers from far afield. Other exhibitions are also planned during the year.

Art Workshops mainly run by LAS members are offered throughout Spring & Summer at the National Trust property Allan Bank in Grasmere.
