Elected to the Society 1998
Judith Wood studied art to ‘A’ level at school and then as a main subject during teacher training. Since 1990 she has exhibited regularly at the Lake Artists Society exhibitions and became a full member in 1997.
Her favourite medium – oils, applied mainly with a palette knife. Her greatest delight – the colour and light of the Impressionists, especially Sisley. Her favourite subjects – children, usually absorbed in play, her domestic hens and ducks, and any scene where the colour and light have something special to say.
